Jamie Hawkins

Jamie Hawkins

President and CEO

Jamie Hawkins is the President and CEO of Benefit Technology Resources and an independent technology consultant. She has been instrumental in helping employers identify how the technology in today’s marketplace can streamline the way they administer their entire HR “back-office” functions and stay compliant with health care reform. She has 17 years of industry experience and over 13 years specializing in Employee Benefits technology solutions for employer groups with 100-8,000 employees. With over 300 providers in the HR technology sector, she has the unique skills to help employers identify and vet the solutions which best fit their needs, budget and timing.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Health care reform data tracking (for example distribution of SBC’s and hours worked for the look back period).
  • Payroll, Human Resource Information Systems, Benefits Administration, Talent Management, Performance Management, Time Keeping and Onboarding software.

CPCU, Executive Vice President

Terry Hawkins is a veteran of the insurance business with over 40 years of experience – all in the independent insurance brokerage industry specializing in the needs of corporate clients. In addition to handling the finances of BTR and strategic planning, he brings a wealth of knowledge to bear for our broker partners especially in “positioning the technology sale.”

His agency – OneSource Group – was one of the top agencies in Tampa, Florida before its sale to Florida National Bank. He is a licensed insurance agent, holds his CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation and served as Chairman of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents in 2001.

He is a graduate of Rhodes College (Memphis, TN), past board member of First National Bank of Clearwater, past board member AmSouth Bank of Florida, Paul Harris Fellow – Rotary International and numerous non-profit community boards.

Kate Taylor

Vice President

Kate Taylor is our Vice President. She has been working in the benefit technology industry for the past nine years. Kate has the knowledge, dedication to detail and passion it takes to manage small, mid and large group projects in a best practice, efficient and professional manner. Over the years, Kate has formed relationships with industry leaders and broker partners that are beneficial to the success of BTR’s client projects and overall growth of BTR. Her ability to manage accounts and teams on a large scale with attention to detail is vital to the benefit technology industry.

Kate has a Bachelor of Science from Bastyr University and a Masters in Health Science from the University of Bridgeport.

Merideth Henry

Merideth Henry

Controller

Merideth Henry is our Controller. Prior to joining the BTR team, Merideth worked as the Chief Financial Officer of a Home Health agency and Care Management company with over 250 employees. She has several years of experience in billing, deposits, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, and budget planning. Merideth prides herself on attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Merideth has a Bachelor’s degree in Event Management from the University of Florida.

Kelli LeMieux

Kelli LeMieux

Consulting Division Manager

Kelli LeMieux is our Consulting Division Manager. She has 17+ years of experience in the Payroll and HR outsourcing industry. Kelli has implemented several of the major technology platforms including PeopleSoft, Ultipro and Workforce Now for the mid-market space. Just prior to joining BTR, Kelli was an Implementation Project Manager for ADP Major Account Services for 4 years. During her time there, Kelli was recognized for her consistent implementations, exceeding 100% of the defined quarterly production plan. Kelli has held other leading implementation roles throughout her industry tenure.

Kelli studied anthropology and sociology at The University of West Florida.

Director of Client Relations and Strategic Initiatives

Josh Hoover is the Director of Client Relations and Strategic Initiatives for Benefit Technology Resources. His broad experience spans over 10 years of Consulting, Human Resources, Business Development, Sales and Marketing. Josh offers a unique perspective in HR Technology Consulting as someone who has managed payroll, sold payroll, programmed databases, and developed an HRIS solution. As such, he has seen the process from every angle. With this experience, he excels at working with clients to find technology that can solve their problems and streamline their processes. Developing long-term, strategic relationships with his broker partners is paramount to offering exceptional consulting service and solutions to their clients.

Josh graduated from Texas A&M University.

Andrea Robinson

Andrea Robinson

HR / Administrative Services Manager

Andrea Robinson is our HR / Administrative Services Manager. She comes to BTR with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources administration. Prior to joining the BTR team, Andrea worked for a consulting company with over 10,000 US employees, headquartered in Montreal, Canada for several years. During that time, her responsibilities included Vendor Management and Human Resources, including, but not limited to monitoring, managing and reporting on their HRIS database.

Andrea has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Human Resources Management from Brenau University.

Adrienne Cordes

Adrienne Cordes

Implementation Service Analyst

Adrienne Cordes is an Implementation Service Analyst. Prior to joining BTR, Adrienne spent several years working in higher education at Full Sail University and at Florida Hospital in the healthcare industry. She started in patient services initiating insurance verifications and prior authorizations and worked her way to being a certified nursing assistant. Adrienne also has several years of experience in customer service – working with and educating the public. With a passion for learning and a desire to develop her own personal skills, Adrienne works with ambition and confidence.

Adrienne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities and Health Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.

Senior Configuration Analyst

Amanda Stubenvoll is a Configuration Analyst. Prior to joining Benefit Technology Resources, Amanda worked as a client services professional for a global HR consulting and outsourcing firm in Chicago, IL. She has several years of experience in employee benefits, technology, data management, and customer service. Amanda prides herself on her strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to produce high-quality results for her clients.

Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Family Studies from Marquette University.

Ashley Kirasich

Ashley Kirasich

Lead Analyst and Trainer

Ashley Kirasich is our Lead Analyst and Trainer. She has over 11 years of project coordinating involvement and 4+ years of HR technology experience. She is an excellent communicator and a dynamic, results-driven, problem solver which makes her an expert liaison for broker partners, clients, and the BTR team. Ashley’s primary role is to train and mentor new and existing consulting team members. Her other responsibilities include leading ongoing process improvement initiatives with the goal of enhancing the quality of the broker and client experience. Additionally, Ashley maintains a book of business coordinating client projects and supports the Consulting Division as part of BTR’s leadership team.

Ashley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida.

Concetta Burns-Ramsey

Concetta Burns-Ramsey

Senior Implementation Analyst

Concetta is a Senior Implementation Analyst. She has nearly 20 years of experience in human capital management, benefit administration and system implementations working in both public and private sector. Having worked at a major US broker’s firm, Concetta brings both the broker and technology knowledge to clients of BTR.

Concetta has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources management from Park University and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University.

Corrina D’Elia

Corrina D’Elia

HR Technology Analyst

Corrina D‘Elia is an HR Technology Analyst with over 6 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining BTR, she was an account executive at a regional benefits firm in Palm Harbor, FL where she managed and supported large employers‘ benefit programs through strategic consulting and implemented Employee Navigator, as well as providing sales and technology support for the entire agency’s book of business. Corrina prides herself on her in-depth knowledge of benefits administration, ACA compliance, and her strong client service skills.

Corrina studied International Affairs and Business at Florida State University. She currently holds her Florida Life, Health, and Variable Annuity insurance license.

Senior HR Technology Analyst

Debbie Peters is a Senior HR Technology Analyst. She has over 25+ years of experience in HR Technology, Human Resources and Employee Benefits. Prior to joining BTR, Debbie worked for Marsh & McLennan Agency/Seitlin, as their e-Commerce and Enrollment Manager on their benefits consulting team. Debbie specialized in all aspects of delivering technology solutions. She worked for Service America Network, Inc. as an HR/Benefits Manager, where she managed the entire benefits program for over 1,200 employees in 8 locations throughout multiple states. Debbie was also employed as an HR/Benefits Administrator with Mark IV Industries, Inc., a Fortune 500 company with over 10,000 employees.

Service and Configuration Analyst

Denise Pyott is a Service and Configuration Analyst. She was a BTR HR Technology Consultant. She has over 30 years’ experience working in the independent insurance agency space. She is a licensed insurance agent in both Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health. She has worked for benefits technology companies assisting brokers and their clients with online software designed to gather employee medical conditions for prescreening purposes. Before joining the BTR team Denise worked for an HR Technology Consulting firm managing HR technology projects for clients.

Deric Haessler

Deric Haessler

Senior HR Technology Consultant

Deric is a Senior HR Technology Consultant with over 20 years of HR Technology management and consulting experience spanning all facets of the industry. Deric started his career as a client-side Human Resources professional specializing in HRIS, payroll, compensation, and benefits. He later joined a fast-growing HR software startup, managing a book of enterprise clients, configuring employee self-service portals, decision support tools, onboarding modules and call center CRM applications. Most recently, Deric wrote the business case for and successfully established the Client Technology Services practice for a prominent regional insurance broker.

Deric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a marketing focus from Sonoma State University (Rohnert Park, California). He also holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management and is a California licensed Accident & Health producer.

Donna Arnlund

Benefits Administration Team & Video Production Lead

Donna Arnlund is a Benefits Administration Team and Video Production Lead. Donna has over 30 years of experience in the areas of customer support and project management within the Information Technology world. Early in her professional career Donna was very successful in her roles as project manager and training coordinator for two medical software companies. Her technical aptitude and people skills earned her the role of Help Desk Supervisor for a state government agency and was later promoted to Systems Operations Manager for the same state agency. Prior to joining BTR Donna had a successful business providing video production services to small businesses. Donna’s excellent communication skills and detail-oriented approach to projects are traits often recognized by her clients and co-workers.

Donna has an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the Community College of Rhode Island.

Implementation Service Analyst

Ilene Ikwueme is an Implementation Service Analyst. She has several years of experience as a Benefit System Administrator and Benefit Advocate. She is a results-driven professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, integrity and high ethical standards. She understands what it takes to be successful and works as a team player to achieve the company’s objectives.

Ilene has her Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in the Foundations of Business and Bachelors of Science degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management.

Benefits Administration Team Lead

Jaime Ferguson is a Benefits Administration Team Lead. She has over 13 years’ experience in data management and technology troubleshooting, along with project management and process implementation in Higher Education industry. Jaime has a passion for technology and learning. She is detailed, analytical and a creative thinker who effectively partners with clients to drive successful implementations.

Jaime has a Bachelor in Arts from University of Central and Masters in Science from Full Sail University.

Jamie Betteridge is the Implementation Lead Service Analyst. With previous experience in Human Resources with a major hotel chain, she has taken on this role with passion and excitement. She has over 6 years of data management and technology troubleshooting experience in higher education along with 10 years of materials management in various industries. She has a keen eye for details and holds quality above all else when meeting the needs of our clients. Creating and maintaining relationships is her specialty, and this is fostered with every service task.

Jamie studied Anthropology at the University of Florida and is pursuing more knowledge daily regarding the HR Technology field.

Jessica Daily is an HR Technology Analyst with over 5 years of experience in project management. Prior to joining BTR, she spent nearly three years working in a Group Benefits Insurance brokerage firm in Nashville, TN. Her responsibilities included HR Technology, Wellness, Account Management, Benefit Administration, and ACA for mid-market employers. She currently holds her Tennessee Life and Health insurance license.

Jessica graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Psychology and Nutrition.

Project Manager

Kellie Aisenstark is a Project Manager who joined the bswift team in January 2015 as an Implementation Coordinator. Since joining BTR she has worked on both new implementations and processing renewals for clients of all sizes on the bswift platform. Her roles include demonstrating the system for prospective clients, configuring complex large accounts, training client administrators, validating enrollment and system setup and gathering required client-specific information. Prior to joining Benefit Technology Resources in 2015, Kellie spent 5 years working in benefits administration while working for a Baltimore-based employee benefits broker.

Kellie received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising from Towson University.

Kelly Zimmerman

HR Technology Consultant

Kelly Zimmerman is an HR Technology Consultant. She has over 25 years of experience in administration and management of Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll in a variety of industries gaining in-depth knowledge of the entire life cycle of the employee from an employer perspective. Kelly has utilized several technology platforms including Paychex, ADP, Ultipro, PeopleSoft and Ceridian as well as implemented new technology at her employers. Prior to joining BTR, Kelly spent almost three years in the Group Benefits practice of a regional insurance brokerage firm in Nashville, Tennessee with responsibilities for both Account Management and Benefit Administration of two large books of business. During this time, Kelly was recognized for her dedication to the clients and the entire Group Benefits area along with her strong client service. She is known for her broad knowledge in HR law and policy as well as its application to benefits and technology.

Kelly received her Organization, Leadership & Supervision degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and has earned her PHR Certification and Tennessee Insurance License in Life and Health.

Kimberly Elbakkali

Kimberly Elbakkali

HR Technology Analyst

Kimberly Elbakkali is an HR Technology Analyst with over 15 years of experience in HR Systems Technology, Human Resources Management, and Total Rewards. Prior to joining BTR, Kimberly worked as a Dayforce HCM Analyst specializing in Recruiting and Talent Management, as well as an HR Systems Analyst for LMS and Recruiting platforms at Ceridian. She also held positions where she has proven experience collaborating with executive teams on HR strategic planning, developing an EPO network and initiating cost containment strategies. Kimberly was a mentor of Ceridian’s PHR/SPHR certification program, and spear-headed employee engagement initiatives focused on retention and succession planning. Kimberly brings much HR experience and knowledge of key sectors like manufacturing, sales and marketing, healthcare and insurance, and technology. Detail-oriented, agile, proactive are key attributes that guide success and produce positive results in every project she undertakes.

Kimberly is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (HRCI and SHRM). She studied Classical Cultures at the University of Georgia and held the office of National Business Chair of the community service organization, Angel Flight-Silver Wings.

Kristin Canning is a Service and Configuration Analyst with over 3 years of experience in online benefit management. Prior to joining the BTR team, Kristin worked as a Project Manager for another Benefit Administration firm. Her responsibilities included planning and implementation of new clients and servicing existing clients. She was also involved in the training of new clients, service calls, testing and ensuring that all clients had that white glove experience. Kristin is very compassionate at what she does and has created a unique relationship with many of her clients.

Kristin received an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Gateway Community College.

Kristina Chavez is a Strategic Product Analyst with 11 years of experience with online benefits technology. She has worked very closely with clients ranging in size and complexity. She has experience with system integration with numerous insurance carriers and payroll vendors. She values her clients and works hard with the client to find the solution best for them. Prior to joining BTR, Kristina worked as the Director of Client Services for an online benefits enrollment technology firm. She was responsible for implementations, client service support, and creating requirement documents for enhancements to the software.

Kristina received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from Canisius College.

Kyle Vashkulat is an Implementation Configuration Analyst. Prior to joining Benefit Technology Resources, Kyle worked as a software implementation analyst for Brown & Brown of New York, an insurance broker in Albany, NY. He has several years of experience in employee benefits, technology, data management, and customer service. Kyle prides himself on his work ethic, determination and the willingness to go out of his way to ensure the highest level of quality for his clients.

Kyle was a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team and graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Implementation Service Analyst

Lauren Pearson is an Implementation Service Analyst with 10 years of online benefit enrollment implementation and consulting experience. Prior to joining the BTR team, Lauren worked as a Team Lead for an Implementation and Consulting department for a company in Charleston, SC. Her responsibilities included overseeing ACA, implementation of new benefits or features on live groups, bringing new EDI file feeds live, managing client escalations, training new hires and managing on and offshore resources. Lauren has a strong background in customer service and problem solving.

Lauren has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Science with a minor in Dance from The University of South Carolina, Columbia.

HR Technology Analyst & Provider Relations Liaison

Lisa Catalano is our Provider Relationship Analyst. Prior to joining Benefit Technology Resources, Lisa devoted 8 years to the benefits practice of a national insurance brokerage firm in Chicago, Illinois. During her time there, she partnered with clients in account management and consulting while managing the operations of the Employee Benefits Division. She currently holds her Illinois Life and Health license.

Lisa graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Lori-Ann Kuhn

Lori-Ann Kuhn

EDI Analyst

Lori-Ann Kuhn is an EDI Analyst. She also has many years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Prior to joining the BTR team, Lori-Ann worked at an electronic payment systems company in Clearwater, Florida where she worked with partners on testing and certifying their software with the company’s product. She has also worked for an online benefits enrollment firm where she was an EDI Specialist and performed EDI file checking, encryption and transmission. She also handled problem troubleshooting and resolution. She is detail oriented, result driven, and a team player.

Implementation Service Analyst

Nicole Coffman is an Implementation Service Analyst on the PlanSource Team. Prior to joining, she worked as an Implementation Manager for an HR and Benefits software platform, onboarding clients of various sizes throughout different industries. She has experience with managing and refining processes associated with system integrations for multiple payroll vendors and insurance carriers. Nicole strives to create a solution for her customers that is scalable and sustainable.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University and her Master of Business Administration from Charleston Southern University.

Nikki Talley

Benefits Administration Team Lead

Nikki Talley is a Benefits Administration Team Lead. Prior to joining the BTR team, Nikki worked as a benefit administration website manager at an insurance brokerage in Orem, Utah. She has years of experience with benefit administration, data management, and information technology.

Nikki has a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering with a minors in Digital Media and Business Management from Utah Valley University.

Reyna Bryant

Manager, Client Revenue Cycle

Reyna Bryant is our Manager of Client Revenue Cycle. She has over 15 years of marketing, customer service and data management experience. Prior to joining the BTR team, Reyna worked as a data management analyst in higher education and led the team responsible for the release of all marketing material for the University. She has been recognized for consistently exceeding monthly goals and implementing new, more efficient ideas. Reyna is a detail oriented, results driven critical thinker, and she thrives on being a part of a productive team.

Reyna has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is certified in Marketing and Web analytics. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Resources from Liberty University.

HR Technology Analyst

Samantha Bates is an HR Technology Analyst with over 10 years of experience in Payroll, Human Resources, Management and Customer Service. Samantha’s expertise includes training and development, leadership and management, customer service, and being an ambassador for client satisfaction and retention.

She supported BTR in her former role while working with Alphastaff. She has a passion for HR technology, learning and developing her current skills and knowledge. Samantha is a very detailed and analytical individual who strives to produce positive results in all situations. She understands the importance of being a team player in order to be an asset to achieving the company’s objectives and goals.

Sam Harvey is a Configuration Analyst. Prior to joining the BTR team, Sam was employed with Paylocity for three years where she was an ACA, escalations, and special project expert. She has several years of experience in customer service and technical support. Sam prides herself on her attention to detail and efficiency.

Sam has a degree from Seminole State College and looks forward to continued growth and learning opportunities with her BTR family.

Shannon Tuccini is a Project Manager. Prior to joining BTR’s team, she worked as an Account Representative for an Insurance Consultant in Chicago, IL and Marquette, MI. Her job responsibilities consisted of overseeing plan implementations to annual renewals. She has over 10 years’ experience in the Insurance industry.

Shannon has a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing from Northern Michigan University.

Shellie Bailey is an Administrative Service Specialist with over 6 years of Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits experience. Prior to joining, Shellie worked for a government agency in Kentucky handling all aspects of benefits, payroll, and Human Resources. During that time, her responsibilities included processing payroll, implementation of HR technology, Human Resources, and employee benefits.

Shellie holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Yvette Wareham Ganda is an Implementation Service Analyst with over 10 years of benefits administration, human resources, and business experience. Prior to joining the BTR team, Yvette worked as a Human Capital Management Implementation Consultant specializing in benefits and ACA for ADP. Yvette oversaw over 75 clients and prides herself on her customer service skills and strong work ethic. She has a passion for HR technology, learning and expanding on her current knowledge.

Yvette has a Bachelor’s Degree from Spelman College in Industrial/
Organizational Psychology and a Master’s Degree from Georgia State University in Business Administration and Human Resources Management.
