It’s Jessica Daily’s first anniversary! Jessica is our HR Technology Analyst and we’re glad to call her a member of our BTR family. In honor of this milestone, we asked Jessica a few questions to get to know her better. Happy anniversary, Jessica! We look forward to many more:
What have you learned from your most recent project?
Two things. Establishing clear expectations is crucial to the success of a project and relationships involved. Secondly, Josh Hoover has a great “House” analogy for describing the differences between less and highly customizable and configurable technology solutions.
What do you like most about your job?
I have the privilege of working with colleagues, clients, brokers, and vendors from around the world. That privilege provides exposure to different industries, cultures, struggles, failures, successes, and learning opportunities for which I am exceptionally grateful. More importantly, I know that what we do at BTR has the potential to positively impact every member of an organization from the entry-level associate to the C-suite.
What do you like to do on your days off?
90% of the time you can find me hiking in the mountains with my human child and fur children. We love adventures, big and small! I also enjoy camping (not to be confused with “glamping”), rock climbing, running, and most any activity that takes place where the wild things are. During the spring and summer, I have a bi-weekly date at the farmer’s market. And, often enough, I am also guilty of hiding out to indulge in a good book from start to finish.
Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?
I do not have a dream vacation destination… I would, however, relish an opportunity to experience Portugal for an undefined amount of time.
Where is your hometown?
