Thank you to all who attended the inaugural #BTRSUMMIT last week in Atlanta. It was a day filled with collaboration and learning. BTR is grateful for our sponsors, who brought our broker partners great meals, refreshments, & some great swag! Thank you to bswift, Ultimate, Proliant, iSolved, Ceridian, Plansource, and Ascentis!
CEO Jamie Hawkins and Vice President Kate Taylor kicked off the Summit with a great welcome message, and laid out the conference theme, GROW.
Our first session was headed by Director of Client Relations & Strategic Initiatives Josh Hoover. Josh held BTR’s first “talk show”, Good Morning BTR! The panel, comprised of Cam Potter (Bouchard), Gary Simmons (Partners Benefits Group), Tawni Deem (Risk Strategies), and Lacey Robinson (Gregory & Appel), discussed their strategies with utilizing BTR and bringing them to clients, prospects and within their organization.
Later we heard from some of the vendors in attendance & how their platform is navigating the rise of tech with clients. Thank you to Don Garlitz with bswift, Ronni Beckwith & Mike Sorvillo with Ultimate, and Tim Clark with Proliant!
Kate Taylor was joined by Benefit Administration Relationship Manager Cristin Jamba to breakdown what makes a successful Ben Admin engagement.
Consulting Division Manager Kelli LeMieux brought new flowcharts to give exposition to our broker partners on what a Consulting project entails, while highlighting the variety of services we provide. We also heard from successful case studies from the BTR Consultants Kelly Zimmerman, Hayes Stevens, & Amy Wilson.
We wrapped up the day with a great presentation from Kate Taylor on Technology Offsets, or subsidies, and how that can drive the conversation on tech with clients.
BTR is still buzzing from #BTRSUMMIT and we cannot wait to hear the feedback from all of our attendees. Be on the lookout for some further breakdowns of sessions, the publications of our presentations in the Broker Portal, and information on BTR Summit 2020!
