It’s Josh Hoover’s fourth anniversary! His dedication and hard work make him an invaluable member of our leadership team. We’re thrilled to be celebrating his fourth year with BTR. In honor of this milestone, we asked Josh a few questions to get to know him better.
If you could do anything differently what would it be?
Create more time for study and critical thinking.
What is your favorite part about your job? What excites you most?
I get most excited when I see the need for a tech strategy finally click with someone. Whether it is a broker partner or client, seeing the light bulb go off is always fun!
What would you give as advice to others to be successful going into their next year at BTR?
Continue to push yourself to learn more about the people you work with. Both clients and coworkers. What inspires them? What motivates them? What are their goals?
Where do you expect to grow in the next year? In what ways?
I am excited to continue becoming a more strategic partner. Both my internal role, and my broker/client-facing role, require a solid strategic plan that will push the engagement to the next level.
Describe a recent project that you’ve learned from. What did you learn throughout the process?
Before starting a project you have to have clearly define success. That will allow you to develop a strategy to accomplish your goals.
